These days, I am trying to accept everything as it is.
I tell myself, “Maybe the company saw me in a negative way.” Instead of holding on to what has already happened, I am trying to accept the situation and look for a new job with the mindset that I will do better next time.
But the reality is not easy.
Finding a job in Korea is much harder than I expected. The government says it is creating industrial complexes and working to generate more jobs, but I still do not know whether there will be a place for me among them.
So yesterday, I decided to start something new.
I enrolled in a Korean language teacher certification course.
One day, I hope to become someone who can teach the Korean language and Korean culture to people from other countries. This is not just about getting a certificate. It is about expanding my possibilities and preparing for my future.
I once lived in Australia. I did not return to Korea because I hated Australia. In fact, I still hope to live there again someday. But going back is not easy right now, and I am not sure whether I can find stable work in Korea either.
So for now, I have decided to focus on what I can do.
I am studying for the Korean language teacher certification and slowly building myself toward the future.
The course begins on July 9.
It was not an easy decision, but I want to keep moving forward instead of giving up. I hope that this choice will one day lead me to a wider world.
If you're living in Korea and need help with the Korean language, feel free to reach out. I'd be happy to help.
ReplyDeleteI live in Cheongju and hope to connect with people from all over the world who are interested in learning Korean and experiencing Korean culture.
